Archers in the spiral of time

Between the documentary moment and the ritual gesture, the exhibition brings together 39 photographs that reject Western chronology in favor of spiraling time. Curated by Marcia Mello, eleven photographers selected by the Firjan SESI Mosaico Rio call for proposals were challenged to photograph time in its diverse poetics. Each photographer constructs their own maps of the many ways of inhabiting the present.

Automatica has been developing cultural projects since 2005, working in the creation, production, curation, management, coordination and consultancy of exhibitions, educational programs, publications and other activities related to artistic production.
