ARTE BRA Lucia Koch shows an overview of the artist's work from the 1980s to current projects in progress. The artist's artistic experience is illuminated/luminous, first by introducing artificial lights and then by interfering with natural lights. In her work, each intervention takes into account the architectural space, but also its social and public use. Lucia Koch dialogues with the other and with her surroundings. At the same time, her work is procedural and public in nature. Lucia Koch, born in Porto Alegre in 1966, has been producing and exhibiting since the late 1980s. Her work explores the relationship between art and architecture, producing changes in the ambient light of institutional or domestic spaces.
