The exhibition Línguas africanas que fazem o Brasil, curated by Tiganá Santana, investigates the presence of African languages and cultures in the shaping of Brazilian Portuguese language in the country. Sound installations, Adinkra symbols, audiovisual productions, and works by Brazilian artists reveal the Afro-diasporic heritage in oral tradition, writing, and the arts. In this edition, the exhibition also highlights Espírito Santo production, with works by Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro, Natan Dias, and Jaíne Muniz. Presented by Museu Vale in partnership with Museu da Língua Portuguesa and produced by Automatica.
