Domenico Vandelli’s Cabinet of Curiosities [Domenico Vandelli’s Cabinet of Curiosities] revisited Brazil’s colonial past, shedding light on the scientific and intellectual advances of the 18th century. Centered on the naturalist Domenico Vandelli, the exhibition showcased records and objects that reflected that era’s evolving understanding of natural history. Combining science, art, and technology, the project featured works by Luiz Zerbini, a soundtrack by Lucas Santtana and Chico Neves, projections by João Bonelli and Joana Ventura, and visual design by Marinho. The exhibition space was conceived by architect Israel Nunes, with furniture designed by Francisco Rodriguez.
