The exhibition Olhares Negros [Black Perspectives], held at the Rio Art Museum, presented the results of photography workshops conducted by the NGO Luta pela Paz [Fight for Peace] with young people from the Maré Complex. The exhibition highlighted the narratives and perspectives of black youth, articulating identity, territory, and collective memory through photography. As part of the institution's 25th anniversary celebrations and produced by Automatica, the exhibition showcased the formative process and the protagonism of the participants.
