During the month of July of 2007, the Tenda da Vivo, in Ipanema Beach, was the stage for the Ação Educativa Eu Vivo Cinema Panamericano [I Live Panamerican Cinema Educational Action]. The Ação Educativa [Educational Action] was an event devoted to activities related to the theme of cultural diversity in the Americas. Its purpose was to promote a reflection on the differences between the American people on the occasion of the Panamerican Games held in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. Through 3 different activities — Cinema, Storytelling and Music workshops — the visiting groups had the opportunity of experiencing and interacting with the habits of different cultures in order to critically enlarge their own relationship with the contemporary world.

Automatica has been developing cultural projects since 2005, working in the creation, production, curation, management, coordination and consultancy of exhibitions, educational programs, publications and other activities related to artistic production. It works with artists, curators, art critics, art historians, cultural institutions, public and private sponsors. It participates in public notices and awards, and prepares projects for incentive laws in the three spheres of public administration.
